Hibernians F.C. signed twenty nine year old forward Haruna Shola Shodiya.
Shodija played for Enyimba in Nigeria before moving to Birkirkara in summer 2011. He moved to Sliema Wanderers in the January 2016 transfer window but the following summer he moved to St. George’s but joined Pembroke Athleta on loan two months later. In January 2018, he joined Haras El Hodod in Egypt but in October 2019, moved back to Malta to join Gharb Rangers in Gozo. In January, he was loaned to Vittoriosa Stars.
The Paolites, who had earlier confirmed coach Stefano Sanderra, have so far signed Rundell Renold Winchester and extended the contracts of Jurgen Degabriele, Gabriel Izquier Artiles and goalkeeper Matthew Calleja Cremona.
