The Eurobridge Pre Season Tournament, organised by Fgura United, continued on Saturday with another two matches at the Charles Abela Stadium, Mosta.
In the first match, Swieqi United registered their second win as they defeated Qormi 3-2. Joseph Willy put Swieqi ahead on the 35th minute but in stoppage time Ousmane Sidibe levelled mattters and Lydon Azzopardi made it 2-1 for Qormi two minutes in the second half. Tejumola Ayorinde equalised on the 65th and on the 84th, Ibrahim Salis made it 3-2 for Swieqi.
On the other hand, Marsa collected their first three points in a 3-2 win over Pieta’ Hotspurs. Manolito Micallef opened the score for Marsa on the 14th minute and ten minutes later, Paulo Henrique Santos doubled the lead. Just before the end of he first half. James Scicluna pulled one back for the Hotpsurs and Kurt Darmanin equalised on the 59th. However Jackson de Lima Siqueira notched the winner for Marsa seven minutes from time.
Swieqi lead the way with 6 points followed by Fgura and Marsa on 3, Pieta’ and Qormi 0.
