Kick-off times for UEFA Champions League, Europa League ties confirmed

UEFA has confirmed the kick-off times for the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League first qualifying rounds.

Floriana will be in action on Wednesday 19 as they host CFR Cluj of Romania in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League at the Centenary Stadium, kick-off at 21:00.

In the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, Valletta host Bala Town of Wales at the Centenary Stadium on Thursday 27, kick-off at 20:00.

At 19:00, Hibernians will be in action at the Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz, Liechtenstein against FC Vaduz while Sirens entertain CSKA-Sofia at the Bulgarska Armia Stadion in Sofia.

These matches will be played behind closed doors in single legs with extra time and a penalty shoot-out if required.

Should they win, Floriana would move on to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League where they would meet GNK Dinamo Zagreb of Croatia on August 25/26. On the other hand, in case of a defeat, they would proceed to the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League which is scheduled for September 17.

Valletta, Hibernians and Sirens would also play on September 17 in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, should they emerge as winners in the first qualifying round matches.

The draws of the UEFA Europa League second qualifying round are scheduled for August 31.
