Sliema Wanderers sign Sylvano Comvalius

Sliema Wanderers secured the services of thirty three year old Dutch striker Sylvano Comvalius, formerly of Hamrun Spartans and Birkirkara.

Comvalius played at youth level for Diemen and Ajax before signing for FC Omniworld, later joining Quick Boys.  He moved to Malta in January 2009 to sign for Hamrun Spartans. The following summer, he moved to Birkirkara. The following season, Comvalius joined Stirling in Scotland and later had spells wiht Al Salimiya in Kuwait, Atyrau in Kazakhstan and Shijiazhuang Ever Bright in China. In 2013, he moved to Germnay where he played for Eintracht Trier, Dynamo Dresden and Hessen Kassel. His journey continued in Ukraine where he played for PFK Stal, Indonesia playing for Bali United, Thailand playing for Suphanburi, Malaysia playing for Kula Lumpur and Indonesia once again playing for Arema and Persipura. 

The Wanderers had earlier signed Denilson, Nuno Malheiro, Riki Kakinuma Alessandro Milesi, Hugo Meira, Danny Holla and young Sebastian Grech while extending the contracts of Antonio Stelitano and Edmond Agius.
