Under-19 national team to play two friendly matches in Italy

The Malta Under-19 squad will be travelling to Italy to play two friendly matches against the youth teams of Juventus and Monza.

Andrea Tedesco, the Malta Under-19 coach who is assisted by Stefano Grima, has named a squad of 22 players for this mini-training camp.

The first friendly match, against Juventus, will take place on Friday in Vinovo while the game against Monza is scheduled for Sunday in Carate.

The Malta Under-19 were due to play England, Slovenia and Wales in the 2020/21 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying round but UEFA has postponed the mini-tournament to March due to the COVID-19 situation.
