Hamrun Spartans will be aiming at a fourth win from as many matches ast they take on Gudja United in one of the three matches in programme on Saturday.
Balzan and Lija Athletic cross swords in the derby while Birkirkara take on Zejtun Corinthians. The match between Sirens and Tarxien Rainbows has been postponed due to the fact that Sirens do not have enough players for the game due to COVID-19 issues.
All matches are being played behind closed doors. but fans are able to watch games thanks to the live-streaming service being offered by the Malta Football Association at https://live.mfa.com.mt/ apart from the usual two weekly matches which are broadcast on TVM 2 and/or TSN.
Balzan vs Lija Athletic, kick-off 15:00 at National Stadium
Balzan will he hoping to return to winning ways on Saturday as they take on neighbours Lija Athletic. Mark Miller’s side registered a narrow win over Tarxien in their first outing but then lost narrowly to Valletta and only managed to earn a draw with Mosta despite going three goals ahead with the Blues making a brilliant comeback to restore equilibrium. Like Balzan, Lija have collected four points so far thanks to a 4-0 win over Senglea and a goalless draw with Birkirkara after losing to Gudja in their second game.
Birkirkara vs Zejtun Corinthians, kick-off 19:15 at Centenary Stadium
Birkirkara were one of the biggest disappointment so far after losing to Valletta and Mosta, earning just a point in a goalless draw with Lija in their last outing. On the other hand, Zejtun Corinthians are still chasing their first win but collected two points in draws with Santa Lucia and Senglea Athletic, losing narrowly to Gudja United.

The Spartans will be aiming for a fourth win in a row after beating Sirens, Santa Lucia and Senglea Athletic in their first three matches. Gudja, on the other hand, will hope to make life difficult for Hamrun after claiming seven points so far thanks to a 2-2 draw with Mosta and two wins over Lija Athletic and Zejtun Corinthians.
