BOV Women’s League champions Birkirkara were drawn with Olimpia Cluj in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women’s Champions League. The match will be played in Cluj on November 3 or 4.
Olimpia Cluj had reached the round of 16 in the competition and already met Birkirkara twice, defeating them 8-0 in 2012 and 6-1 in 2018.
The draw involved 40 clubs, paired into 20 single-legged ties. The winners progress to the second qualifying round, with the ten victors at that stage then joining the 22 clubs given byes to the round of 32
