Hibernians, Gudja seek wins to join Gzira on top

Hibernians and Gudja United will be aiming for a win on Sunday as they take on Lija Athletic and Floriana respectively in two of the three BOV Premier League matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium and the Hibernians Stadium.

Valletta face Santa Lucia in the other match.

All matches are being played behind closed doors. but fans are able to watch games thanks to the live-streaming service being offered by the Malta Football Association at https://live.mfa.com.mt/ apart from the usual two weekly matches which are broadcast on TVM 2 and/or TSN.

Hibernians vs Lija Athletic, kick-off 15:00 at Centenary Stadium

The Paolites could move on top, on level points with Gzira, should they beat Lija Athletic. Hibs are unbeaten in four matches as they defeated Floriana, Tarxien and Mosta, dropping two points in a draw with Valletta. Lija, on the other hand, lost three out of the last four matches, earning a point in a draw with Birkirkara.

Gudja United vs Floriana, kick-off at 19:15 at Centenary Stadium

Following an impressive 2-1 win over Sliema, Gudja United seek the three points from this difficult clash with leaders Floriana in their bid to join Gzira on top the BOV Premier League table. They won three out of the five matches played so far, dropping points in a draw with Mosta and a narrow defeat to Hamrun. However, after narrowly defeating earlier this week, the Greens are eager to claim another three points after losing two out of the five matches played so far.

Santa Lucia vs Valletta, kick-off 15:00 at Hibernians Stadium

Valletta are eager to bounce back with a win after losing five points from the last two matches in a defeat to Gzira and a draw with Hibernians. Santa Lucia, on the other hand, target another positive result following back-to-back wins over Floriana and Tarxien in their last two matches.
