San Gwann moved top in the BOV Challenge League as they defeated Swieqi United 1-0 in one of the two matches at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday.
Owen Spiteri scored the all-important goal on the 65th minute.
In another match, Zebbug Rangers registered a third consecutive win, beating Pieta’ Hotspurs 2-0 courtesy of Jamie Carbone on the 8th minute and Luke Gatt on the 25th.
