The Malta futsal squad will convene for another training camp between December 7 and 12 as part of their build-up for their upcoming international commitments.
Coach Zeljko Anicic has selected 19 players to take part in this training camp at the National Sports School in Pembroke, the second in just over two months after the one heldin late September.
Anicic’s selection features players from five different clubs with University of Malta the most represented with a total of six players
Valletta have five players while champions Luxol St.Andrews, who last week advanced to the Main Round of the UEFA Futsal Champions League are represented by three, the same as Mellieħa.
Swieqi United FC Futsal have two players in the 19-man list with coach Anicic including a host of newcomers as he will be looking to introduce new players into the squad while a number of established ones are either nursing injuries or not available for this training programme.
In addition to the training sessions, the Maltese squad will play two friendly matches against foreign players engaged with local futsal clubs.
