Hamed Koné joins Sirens

Sirens FC secured the services of Ivorian attacking midfielder Hamed Koné.

The thirty-three year old joins the St. Paul’s Bay side from Gzira United where he spent the last eighteen months.

Koné started his career with JMG Academy in Abidjan in the Ivory Coast He then started a journey which took him to a number of countries as he played for Chonburi FC in Thailand, Home United in Singapore, Gainare Tottori in Japan, Slavia Sofia in Bulgaria, Academica Arges/Clinceni and FC Voluntari in Romania, Dibba Al-Furajairah in the UAE, Nuorese in Italy, KF Feronikeli in Kosovo and Neuchatel Xamax in Switzerland.

At Sirens, he will join his former coach Giovanni Tedesco.

Meanwhile Maxuell Maia will be moving in the opposite direction, moving from Sirens to Gzira United.
