Vittoriosa Stars moved fourth in the BOV Challenge League table, joining San Gwann and Qrendi on the 21-point mark, as they defeated Qormi 1-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Wednesday.

A penalty by Renan Sgaria Farias eleven minutes from time handed Vittoriosa the three points.

In another match, Pieta’ Hotspurs beat St. George’s 4-0. Zean Leonardi put the Hotspurs ahead on the 22nd minute. Diego Segura doubled the score on the 39th and just before half-time Liam Scicluna made it 3-0. Jamie Scerri added another one minute from time.
