Swarovski Tirol win Tipsport Malta Cup 2021 final

WSG Swarovski Tirol of Austria won the Tipsport Malta Cup 2021 after defeating Czech side SK Sigma Olomouc 5-4 on penalties in the final at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Ondra Zmrzlý put Sigma ahead on the 39th minute but Stefan Hager equalised on the 75th.

With the result still draw, the penalty shoot-out had to determine the winner and the Austrian side prevailed to lift the cup.

Meanwhile Zbrojovka Brno claimed third place thanks to a narrow win over Spartak Trnava, courtesy of an Adam Fousek penalty.
