Gzira United signed Malta international midfielder Steve Pisani from Balzan.

A product of San Gwann, twenty-eight year old Steve Pisani joined Hibernians on loan in summer 2010, making his move a permanent one the following season. In January 2013, he was loaned to Floriana, spending eighteen months on loan before making his move a permanent one in summer 2014. In January 2019, he moved to Balzan where he spent the last two years.

The Maroons had earlier signed Maxuell Maia da Silva, Filype Pinheiro Mendonça, Bahrudin Atajic and welcomed back Karl Pulo.
