Birkirkara FC announced that they have agreed terms with goalkeeper Andrew Hogg to rescind his contract. Therefore the former Malta international goalkeeper, who is now aged 36, is free to join another club.
A product of Pieta’ Hotspurs FC, Hogg joined Valletta FC in 2007 where he played for five years before he moved to Cyprus to join Enosis Neon Paralimni FC. In the following season, he joined AEL Kalloni of Greece where he played for three seasons before returning to Malta with Hibernians FC, joining them in summer 2016. Hogg moved to Birkirkara in January 2019.
Birkirkara had earlier confirmed coach Andre Paus and one of their foreigners, Claudio Bonanni.
