Luxol Futsal defeated Dolphins Ashdod of Israel 8-0 in their second match from the Preliminary Round – Group A of the UEFA Futsal Champions League at the Sport Hall “26-ti April” in Gevgelija, North Macedonia on Sunday.
An own goal paved the way for Gabriel Dobre’s side and by the fourth minute they had already scored another two goals through Maikinho and Hebberth Bolt to go 3-0 ahead. Gia Nikvashvili increased the lead on the 9th and two minutes later, Celino Alves scored the fifth goal. A penalty by Emil Raducu towards the end of the first half handed Luxol a six goal lead. In the second half, Luxol scored twice through Gia Nikvashvili and Mark Zammit.
The final match for Luxol is on Tuesday as they face hosts KMF Proekt who defeated Dolphins Ashdod 6-0 and Cefn Druids 8-1. Luxol and KMF Proekt have the same goal-difference but KMF Proekt scored one goal more than Luxol.
