Naxxar Lions registered their second win in one of the two matches from the BOV Challenge League on Friday.
In Group A, Naxxar defeated St. George’s 1-0 at the Centenary Stadium, courtesy of a goal by Edson Cerqueira Farias on the 57th minute.
On the other hand, in Group B, Fgura United beat Zebbug Rangers 3-0 thanks to goals by Kenny Gandini on the half-hour and Dylan Caruana nine minutes later and Rafael Conrado Prudente eight minutes in the second half.
