Kalkara and Zabbar St. Patrick registered their second wins in the BOV National Amateur League on Sunday.
In Group A, at the Luxol Stadium, Kalkara defeated Ta’ Xbiex 2-0 thanks to a brace by Jordan Vella on the 17th and 30th.
At the Sirens Stadium. Xghajra Tornados and Ghaxaq shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw, goals by Ian Calleja on the 70th for Ghaxaq and Aidan Agius Gilford for Xghajra on the 79th.
In Group B, Zabbar St. Patrick defeated Kirkop United 2-1 at the Sirens Stadium. Gianluca Zammit scored twice on the 23rd and 34th with Simone Lo Presti reducing the gap on the 48th.
On the other hand at the Luxol Stadium, a goal by Leon Theuma on the 78th handed Qormi a narrow win over Mdina Knights.
