Swieqi United registered a most comfortable 12-0 win over Mtarfa in a match from the Women’s League at the Mgarr Ground on Tuesday.
The team led by Nenad Tomic scored five within the first seventeen minutes. Emma Xuereb put Swieqi ahead on the 2nd minute and four mintues later, Simone Buttigieg doubled the score. Kelly Agius Pace made it 3-0 on the 9th minute, adding another on the 15th with Jade Schembri scoring a fifth goal two minutes later. Four minutes from the end of the first half, Jade Flask scored Swieqi’s sixth.
Seven minutes in the second half, Dorianne Theuma converted a penalty, adding another twelve minutes later. Shona Zammit made it 9-0 on the 67th, Kayleigh Chetcuti scored a tenth goal on the 74th with Theuma scoring her third goal five minutes later. Four minutes from time, Demi Magrin made it 12-0.
