Santa Lucia were paired with Sirens in the only clash between two Premier League clubs as the draws for the Round of 32 and the Round of 16 of the Izibet Malta FA Trophy were held on Saturday.
Apart from the twelve Premier League clubs, the draw included fifteen Challenge League clubs, two National Amateur League clubs and three Gozitan teams. Holders Balzan, champions Hamrun Spartans, Hibernians, Gzira United, Birkirkara, Sliema Wanderers and Mosta were seeded.
The Izibet Malta FA Trophy Round of 32 will be played on February 8, 9 and 10.

Six Premier League clubs were drawn with Challenge League teams as Gudja United take on Swieqi United, Sliema Wanderers were drawn with Vittoriosa Stars, Birkirkara face Fgura United, Mosta meet Luqa St. Andrew’s, holders Balzan face Pieta’ Hotspurs and Hamrun Spartans take on Naxxar Lions.
Gzira United and Valletta were drawn with National Amateur League sides Zabbar St. Patrick and Marsaskala respectively. On the other hand, Floriana and Hibernians were paired with Gozitan sides Ghajnsielem and Nadur Youngsters respectively.
Zebbug Rangers face St. Andrews, Pembroke Athleta take on Marsaxlokk, Melita meet St. George’s and Marsa face Tarxien Rainbows in four clashes between Challenge League sides.
The other Challenge League team, Zejtun Corinthians, will be facing Gozitan side Xewkija Tigers.
