Santa Lucia secured the services of Cape Verde international central defender Lorenzo Soares Fonseca.

The 24-year old started his career at Spartaan 20 in the Netherlands and then went on to play for Sparta Rotterdam and FC Den Bosch before joining Academica Coimbra in Portugal.
