Two new signings for Hibernians

Leaders Hibernians continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Ivorian midfielder Ali Diakité and Portuguese forward Hugo Filipe da Costa Oliveira.

Twenty-eight year old Ali Diakité played for a number of clubs in Spain, namely Pobla de Mafumet CF, Pobla de Mafumet CF, UB Conquense, SD Leioa, CD Guadalajara, UD Melilla, CD Badajoz, CF Lorca Deportiva, CF Villanovense, CD Alcoyano and UD Socuéllamos.

On the other hand, thirty-three year old Hugo Vieira started his career at Santa Maria da Feira and then played for GD Estoril Praia, Gil Vicente FC and SL Benfica in Portugal. He had a spell with Sporting Gijón in Spain on loan and after playing for Gil Vicente FC and SC Braga in Portugal, he had spells with Torpedo Moscow in Russia, Red Star Belgrade in Serbia, Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan, Sivasspor in Turkey, Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo in Japan and FC Universitatea Craiova 1948 in Romania.
