Sliema Wanderers and Santa Lucia failed to take home the much-needed three points from the basement clash as they shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Sunday.
Therefore, Santa Lucia stay two points ahead of Sliema Wanderers on 13 points and 11 points respectively while Mosta are third from bottom on 18 points.
Santa Lucia took the lead on the 13th minute when Vito Plut concluded a solo effort with a shot from outside the area which gave goalkeeper David Cassar no chance.
On the 26th, Vito Plut entered the area from the left and pulled to a more central position before trying his luck with a rising shot which hit the crossbar.
However just before the end of the first half, two minutes in added time, Sliema equalised when Valmir Berisha’s low shot was partially saved by Haber and off the rebound, Ruslan Kisil placed the ball at the back of the net.
