Women’s Under-19 national team hits four past Cyprus in friendly match

The Malta women’s Under-19 national team defeated Cyprus 4-0 in a friendly match at the Ormidia Municipal Stadium on Saturday.

Following a goalless goal draw in the first half, Emma Ciantar Piccinino put Malta ahead on the 57th. Maya Lucia doubled the score on the 66th and Veronique Mifsud made it 3-0 on the 74th. Maya Lucia added another ten minutes from time.

In a first friendly match on Thursday, Malta had defeated Cyprus 2-0 thanks to a brace by Maya Lucia.
