The draws for the semi-finals of the National Amateur Cup were held on Tuesday.
Zabbar St. Patrick were drawn with Zurrieq while Marsaskala were paired with Mellieha.
Zabbar beat St. Lawrence Spurs 5-0 in the Preliminary Round, Mtarfa 3-1 in the Round of 16 and Ta’ Xbiex 3-0 in the quarter-finals. In the Preliminary Round, Zurrieq defeated Siggiewi 2-1, Ghaxaq 3-0 in the Round of 16 and Xghajra Tornados in the quarter-finals.
Marsaskala reached this stage after defeating Xaghra United 3-0 in the Preliminary Round, Birzebbuga St. Peter’s 5-4 on penalties in the Round of 16 and Kalkara United 5-4 on penalties in the quarter-finals. On the other hand, Mellieha beat Dingli Swallows 3-1 in the Round of 16 and Sta. Venera Lightnings 1-0 in the quarter-finals.
