Balzan secured the services of twenty four year old attacking midfielder Aidan Jake Friggieri.

A product of Sliema Wanderers, Friggieri moved to St. Andrews in January 2017 but in summer 2019, he joined Gudja United where he spent the last two years.

Balzan had earlier appointed Oliver Spiteri as their new coach and signed goalkeeper Jonathan Debono from Sirens.
