Futsal national team currently on training camp

The Malta Futsal national team is currently on a training camp ahead.

For this training camp which started on Sunday and ends on Wednesday, Malta Futsal coach Zeljko Anicic has selected 17 players.

The training camp includes two friendly matches against the Malta U19 Team that is also ramping up preparation ahead of Preliminary Group games in January. 

The University of Malta have six players called up and champions Luxol five.

Other players selected are two from Swieqi, one each from Ta’ Xbiex, St George’s Futsal, and Żurrieq Futsal, all joined by the sole foreign-based player in the squad, that is Giancarlo Sammut who currently plays in Denmark.

The friendly matches against the Malta U19 Team shall take place on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th November.
