Futsal: Luxol maintain perfect record

Luxol St. Andrews maintained their perfect record in the Enemed Futsal League as they registered a fifth win in as many matches, defeating Fgura United 6-1.

The St. Andrews side had their captain Mark Zammit in fine form as he grabbed a hat-trick with Matthew Attard, Andre Ciancio and Moise Da Costa scoring the other goals for their team. Jose Angel Godar Pereira scored Fgura’s consolation goal.

University of Malta kept their place in the top part of the table as they beat St George’s 3-1. Steven Camilleri helped himself with a brace while Denzil Pisani was also on the mark for the students. Miguel Agius scored the only goal for the Cottonera side.

Ta’ Xbiex Futsal obtained a fine 7-3 win over Żurrieq Futsal. Karl Sciortino was the winners’ talisman player as he notched a hat-trick with Redeemer Borg, Dylan Musu, Zvezdan Vukovic and Stefi Cale scoring the other goals. Dale Vella, Boycho Marev and Chris Cardona scored Żurrieq’s goals.

Marsaskala won 4-1 against the Malta Veterans. Craig Pickard and Jean Leite Lopes scored two goals each with Noel Bray reducing the arrears for the Veterans.

Meanwhile Felipe Molina won the Enemed Player of the Month award for November

Felipe Molina, who hails from Colombia, plays for Swieqi Futsal. After a brief stint with Valletta, he joined the Owls at the start of the season and is undergoing a positive season scoring vital goals for his team.

CEO Kevin Chircop together with FMA president Mark Borg, presented the Enemed Futsal Player of the Month Award to the Swieqi Utd FC Futsal player together with some vouchers.
