The European Qualifier between Italy vs Malta on Saturday October 14 is expected to be played at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari.

Although the FIGC is yet to confirm the venue, Bari mayor Antonio Decaro announced during a programme on television station TeleBari that delegates from the FIGC visited the stadium on Monday morning to inspect the facilities.

Decaro added that the FIGC should give their official reply shortly, followed by a final inspection by UEFA.
