Hibernians signed Armenian twenty three year old forward Armen Hovhannisyan.

A product of Pyunik, Hovhannisyan played for FC Ararat-Armenia before moving to Zemplin Michalovce in Slovakia. This was followed by a spell with FC Nitra before returning to Armenia to re-join Ararat Armenia. He was loaned to Gandzasar Kapan and then transferred to Zimbru Chisinau in Moldova but following a short spell, he joined AO Episkopi in Greece. Last January, he was loaned to Pieta’ Hotspurs.

Hovhannisyan is the second signing for the Paolites after goalkeeper Jonathan Debono.
