Balzan FC secured the services of Portuguese twenty-six year old defender Evandro Gomes.

Gomes played for Quarteirense, Felgueiras, Gafanha, Trofense and Arouca in Portugal before joining Liopetriou in Cyprus. Last season, he moved to Lublinianka in Poland

Balzan had earlier signed Triston Caruana, Andre Fausto Prates Rodrigues, Ryohei Michibuchi, Jake Grech and goalkeeper Danilo Golovic.
