The Malta Women’s Under-17 national team will be facing Croatia, Luxembourg and Azerbaijan after being drawn in Group B3 of the UEFA Women’s Under-17 Championship Round 1 mini-tournament in Autumn. The draw was held on Friday and has set the groups for the first stage of the 2023/24 edition.
Malta is making a comeback after missing the last two editions of the competition. Their last participation was in the 2019 season, held in Belarus.
The six group winners and the runners-up with the best record against the teams placing first and third in their group will be promoted.
