Marsaxlokk continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Malta international midfielder Nikolai Muscat

A product of San Gwann, Muscat moved to Gzira United in 2017, spending the last six years with the Maroons.

The Southseasiders, who have appointed Winston Muscat as their new coach, had earlier signed Jacob Walker, Jake Ghio, Armah Ayo Vaikainah, Diego Pires Dall’Oca and goalkeeper Anson Saliba. Goalkeeper Marko Drobnjak, Ryan Scicluna, Leandro Aguirre, Santiago Ferraris and Dale Mifsud were confirmed from last season.
