Valletta secured the services of Brazilian twenty-five year old left back Victor Luiz Prestes Filho.

This will be the second experience in Malta for Victor Luiz, having played for Santa Lucia in seasons 2020/21 and 2021/22.

He started his career at Cruzeiro and after a spell on loan with Londrina, joined HJK Helsinki on loan for the latter part of 2019. On his return to Cruzeiro, he was loaned to Villa Nova. Victor Luiz played for Alverca in Portugal last season.

The Citizens had earlier signed Juan Bolanos, Federico Dario Jose Vega, Fernando Omar Barrientos and Neil Anthony Micallef.
