Hibernians secured the services of twenty-nine year old midfielder Johann Bezzina.

Bezzina started his career at the Birkirkara nursery before switching to the Paolites with whom he went on to make his Premier League debut. He spent season 2015/16 on loan with Sliema, moving to Birkirkara in January 2019. He was loaned to Mosta for season 2020/21 and 2021/22 and then after being released, he moved to Gudja United last summer.

The Paolites, who have just appointed Branko Nisevic as their new coach, had earlier signed goalkeeper Jonathan Debono, Samuel Okoh, Claudio Bonanni, Armen Hovhannisyan, Giannis Bastianos, Eriks de Souza Santos Pereira and Robert Bairam.
