Under-21 side beaten 0-3 by Hungary

The Malta Under-21 national team suffered a second defeat in as many matches in Group B of the UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifying round, losing 0-3 to Hungary at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Tuesday.

The visitors, who were coming from a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan in their first outing, wasted no time, taking the lead after just three minutes thanks to Dominik Kocsis.

Four minutes from the end of the first half, Dominik Kocsis doubled the score.

Hungary sealed the issue with a third goal five minutes from time.
