Lija Athletic came from behind with two late goals to beat Kirkop United 2-1 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Tuesday in a match from the Preliminary Round of the IZIBET FA Trophy.
Matthew Borg put Kirkop ahead just before the end of the first half but Erjon Beu converted a penalty ten minutes from time and five minutes in added time, Leo Agius notched the winner.
The remaining matches from the Preliminary Round will be played on Wednesday.
