Hibernians secured the services of Malta Under-21 international goalkeeper Hugo Sacco.

The French-born goalkeeper is a product of Marseille but last summer moved to Eastern New Mexico University Greyhounds in the USA.

Sacco should take the number 1 role in the months of January and February as goalkeeper Ibrahim Kone will be involved with Guinea in the Africa Cup of Nations which gets underway next week.

The Paolites had earlier signed Mamadou Bagayoko but released Johann Bezzina.
