Hibernians continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Croatian twenty seven year old forward Sime Zuzul.

A product of Hajduk Split, Zuzul also played for RNK Split, NK Imotski, HNK Gorica before moving to Austria to join Deutschlandsberger SC. On hit return to Croatia, he played for HRV Dragovoljac. Later, he had spells with Balestier Khals and Geylang in Indonesia, spending last year at Lokomotiv Tashkent in Uzbekistan.

The Paolites had earlier signed Mamadou Bagayoko and goalkeeper Hugo Sacco but released Johann Bezzina and Armen Hovhannisyan.
