Malta lost 0-2 to Montenegro in the opening match from the UEFA U16 Development Tournament at the Centenary Stadium on Tuesday.

Following a goalless first half, the visitors opened the score through Spahic eight minutes in the second half and Djordjevic sealed the issue with a goal on the 79th.
