The Malta Women’s Under-16 national team lost 1-3 to Bulgaria on Thursday in their second game from the UEFA U16 Development Tournament being played at the Centenary Stadium.

Bulgaria took the lead courtesy of Katerina-Maria Ravnachka on the 16th and Vesela Kalinova doubled the score on the 33rd. However Kay Axiaq converted a penalty to reduce the gap on the 61st.
