Balzan appoint Dave Rodgers as new coach

Balzan FC appointed Dave Rodgers as their new coach. He replaces Oliver Spiteri who stepped down from his post last month.

Throughout his career as a player, he played mainly in Ireland after starting his career in England and had spells in Scotland and Ireland. Rodgers started his coaching career at Home Farm as assistant coach and later worked as assitant coach at Woodview Celtic. He coached Duleek and Ballymun United before joining the Liverpool academy. He served as assistant coach of the India national team and was then appointed as coach of DSK Shivajians. Later he joined FC Arizona in the USA and following a spell with the Nottingham Forest Academy, he joined Finn Harps in Ireland.
