Marsaxlokk continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Brazilian twenty six year old forward Patrick Carvalho Nonato.

A product of Santa Cruz, Patrick Nonato had a spell with Central in Uruguay before playing for UR Trabalhadore, CAC Renaux, Goiania, Salgueiro and Fluminense. Two years ago, he moved to Europe to join KF Erzeni in Albania and following a spell with FK Decic Tuzi in Montenegro, he joined Al Sahel in Kuwait earlier this year.

The Southseasiders, who have confirmed Winston Muscat as coach and appointed Erdal Karaman as assistant coach and Charles Sciberras as goalkeepers coach, had earlier signed Lucas Lopez and Guttiner Heider Fernando Costa Tenorio.
