Marsaxlokk secured the services of Brazilian twenty seven year old winger Igor Leandro Goularte do Nascimento. 

Igor Goularte played for AD Itaboraí, Correcaminos de la UAT, Atlético Acreano, Luverdense EC, Avaí FC, ABC FC, Grêmio Novorizontino, Paysandu SC, Hercílio Luz FC, SER Caxias do Sul, Botafogo FC, Azuriz FC, Campinense Clube and Pouso Alegre FC in Brazil apart from spells with Estoril in Portugal, River Plate Asunción in Paraguay

The Southseasiders, who have confirmed Winston Muscat as coach and appointed Erdal Karaman as assistant coach and Charles Sciberras as goalkeepers coach, had earlier signed Patrick Carvalho Nonato, Lucas Lopez and Guttiner Heider Fernando Costa Tenorio.
