Birkirkara FC secured the services of Italian twenty eight year old goalkeeper Giacomo Volpe.

A product of Juventus, Volpe was also on the books of Barletta, Correggese, AS Gubbio, Cremonese, Foggia, Arzignano and Feralpisalo.

Birkirkara, who had earlier appointed Stefano De Angelis as their new coach, had earlier signed Maicon and confirmed Alex Satariano.
