Mosta secured the services of Brazilian twenty eight year old right back Leonardo Fernandes Joaquim da Silva.

Leo Fernandes played for Sampaio, Vitoria, Audax, Nova Iguacu, Santa Cruz and Sao Luiz in Brazil before joining AF Elbasani in Albania earlier this year.

The Blues had earlier signed Sean Mintoff, Joao Teixeira, Cristian, Richard Luca and Hulk and agreed new deals with Gianluca Sciberras, David Udoh Akpan and Shedrack Thomas.
