Goalkeeper Matthias Debono will be playing once again for Naxxar Lions as he joins them on another one-year loan spell from Hamrun Spartans.

Debono, who is now twenty two years old, started his career at the Hibernians nursery before joining Hamrun Spartans. Before joining Naxxar Lions, he had a spell on loan with Tarxien Rainbows.

The Lions, who have confirmed George Vella as their coach, had earlier signed Kemmu Degran Jackson, Matheus Taumaturgo, Luan Dias, Pedro Vitor, Caxambu, Nikolai Micallef, Myron Micallef, Matthias Fenech, Kayne Haber and Kane Abela and confirmed Japanese duo Yasukaze Ito and Takuma Yamaguchi, Edson Cerquiera Farias and Neil Pace Cocks.
