Birkirkara FC secured the services of Equatoguinean/Spanish twenty six year old forward Juan José Óscar Siafa Etoha.

Oscar Siafa, who is an Equatorial Guinea national team player, played for CF Fuenlabrada, CD Mostole, Elche Ilicitano, Eldense, FC Cartagena, Alzira and Laredo in Spain before a spell in Greece where he played for Olympiakos Volou and Niki Volou. Last season, he played for Alessandria in Italy.

Birkirkara, who have appointed Stefano De Angelis as their new coach, had earlier signed Shaun Dimech, Maicon, Pablo Leonel Gaitán, Manuel Morello, Laton, Leandro Lacunza, Agustin Sandona and goalkeeper Giacomo Volpe.
