Birkirkara FC secured the services of Ivorian twenty seven year old forward Gnamien Gislain Yikpe.

Throughout his career, Yikpe played for AFAD Djeaknou in Ivory Coast, Hafia FC in Guinea, Gor Mahia in Kenya, Young Africans in Tanzania, Arar and Al Entesar in Saudi Arabia, Asswehly in Libya, SCC Mohammedia, TAS Casablanca and Khemisset in Morocco and Samgurali in Georgia.

Birkirkara, who have appointed Stefano De Angelis as their new coach, had earlier signed Shaun Dimech, Oscar Siafa, Maicon, Pablo Leonel Gaitán, Manuel Morello, Laton, Leandro Lacunza, Agustin Sandona and goalkeeper Giacomo Volpe.
