Malta U19 Coach Paul Gatt has announced his 20-man squad for the upcoming UEFA European Under-19 Championship Qualifiers, set to take place in Poland this month.
Malta is in Group H, which also consists of Gibraltar, Poland, and Türkiye. Malta’s first match will be against hosts Poland and will take place on Wednesday 9th October at 18:00hrs. This will be followed by encounters against Türkiye and Gibraltar on Saturday 12th October at 12:00hrs and Tuesday 15th October at 13:00hrs, respectively.
The Malta U19 National Team is coming off the back of an impressive window last time out, having played two friendlies against Bulgaria. Both of the matches had finished in draws, but the team produced strong performances, especially in defence.
The games also allowed Coach Gatt to assess the squad further ahead of the upcoming matches.
